Just yesterday it seemed like we were all getting ready to celebrate the new year, and yet now it’s already February. That means Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Don’t worry, you still have time to put something together.
If you’re looking to spend some important time with your gal pals, don’t forget the ever popular Galentine’s Day. Whatever day you decide to celebrate, if you’re looking for some party ideas for a group, or some date ideas for a couple, here are a handful of things you can do at home or around town.
Why not make it a girl’s night? And, while you’re at it, why not include some kind of a theme? Have all your gal friends bring over a bottle of their favorite wine, and then share the wine with everyone.
Toss in some much required chocolate, because, after all, it is a Valentine’s Day party for you and your friends and you can’t have such a party without chocolate. Who says you have to go to some sort of class to paint and have a drink? Who says you have to do the ordinary dinner date for Valentine’s Day? Oftentimes it’s the thought that counts, so why not think outside of the box? February is the perfect time to get outside in Arizona, and there are all kinds of activities you can book to really elevate your V-Day game in 2022.
There are plenty of horse riding activities you can book throughout the state. Whether you look it up on Trip Advisor or you head out to Groupon, you may be surprised as to how many horse riding activities there are.
Or maybe you opt for a hot air balloon ride, or you simply grab a sack full of quarters and head to the arcade. The fact is, you know your significant other better than anyone else, so what would they have fun doing?
If they are an avid gamer, then definitely head out to the arcade. There’s just something about a quarter-fed machine that brings back all kinds of nostalgia. Or maybe they love animals. In this case, you can go to one of the outdoor wildlife locations found in metro Phoenix and Tucson, or you can donate some of your time to spend with dogs and cats at a local animal shelter.
Don’t want to spend a lot on one date? Plan a picnic at the park. You don’t have to spend loads of money to have a great Valentine’s Day. Grab some eegee’s on the way to your picnic spot.
