See Eegees Holiday Hours
eegee’s understands it’s hot out there. But, we also get that summer is fun and adventurous despite the heat, which is why we have some of the best cool drinks in the world. Have you tried an eegees Fizz yet? Few things are more refreshing.
We want you to have the best summer of your life, which sometimes takes something with a little more kick. eegees’ Fizz drinks are fantastic, icy, and refreshing. They are a delicious combination of an eegee with one of our Pepsi products. Any of our eegees can be made into a fizz, and they fit in at just about any party and make a great companion to frozen and refreshing cocktails. Consider these cool, fun cocktail recipes as the temperature rises.
Each drink has its own set of ingredients. The one thing you need for each of these drinks is some kind of eegee Fizz. So, head to the nearest eegee’s. They are all over Arizona. For some, you may also need a blender, mixing tin or glass, and fresh fruit.
What you won’t need is ice. The eegee Fizz is full of frosty goodness and has all the ice you need.
Start your summer of fun with a Scoops of Summer frozen drink featuring a Strawberry eegee and Lemonade Fizz. You can get one of each or order a half-and-half Fizz. You’ll also need:
Take your half and a half or two eegee Fizzes and dump them into the blender. Add half an ounce of the peach liqueur and two ounces of vodka to the blend. Flash blend for around five seconds and pour the drink into a fancy cocktail glass. Add the garnish of your choice. We think a fresh strawberry is perfect.
Pro tip: If you are not a strawberry/lemon mix fan, you can do this with any fruit Fizz drink. Also, experiment with different flavors of liquor. You could change the recipe by substituting your favorite kind of rum for the vodka.
Who doesn’t think of cool summer punch when they have a frozen margarita. There is an eegee’s recipe for that too. You’ll want to fill up on eegee’s strawberry Fizzes for this drink. We recommend doing a Strawberry Fizz with lemonade. You’ll also need:
Start by putting your Fizzes in the blender. Now add some fresh mango. You won’t need much, just enough to give the drink some fruity pulp. Next, pour in two shots of tequila and one shot of triple sec and blend. Pour a small amount into a glass and taste it, then add more liquor or fresh fruit as needed. Once you have the taste you want, pour yourself and your friends a margarita and relax.
Pro tip: You can make this drink lighter by using a Skinny Berry Fizz instead of strawberry and mango. Also, leave out the liquor for a fun, non-alcoholic drink.
Nothing says summer like a Teagee, which is why we love this drink. First, pick up your favorite flavor of eegee Fizz and a Lemonade Iced Tea Teagee. You’ll also need:
Mix your Fizz and Teagee into one glass. You’ll probably want just half the Fizz for now and leave some room at the top of the glass for the liquor. Next, add 1.5 ounces of Pineapple rum and .75 ounces of the Allspice Dram. No need for a blender. Just stir to mix. Now add in six dashes of bitters and stir.
Finally, garnish with your choice of fruit and frilly. We suggest a fresh lemon or lime might be nice.
Pro tip: If you don’t care for the bitter’s taste, not everyone does, leave them out or cut the ingredient in half. It will still taste like the best iced tea you’ve ever had to date.
What gives you the citrus taste of lemon and the sweet refreshment of a strawberry? You guessed it. This easy frozen treat starts with a Strawberry eegee and Sierra Mist Fizz. You will also need:
Pour the strawberry and Sierra Mist Fizz into a tall glass. Make sure to leave room at the top for the additional ingredients. Pour two ounces of Arcadia Meyer Lemon Vodka and zest (scrape off the outer layer of skin) the lemon into the drink. You should zest one-half of the skin or less if you would like. After zesting, you could cut the lemon and use a slice as a garnish for the drink.
Pro tip: Any lemon vodka will do for this drink.
If you are a big mojito fan, you’ll love this cocktail. Start with a strawberry eegee and Sierra Mist Fizz. You will also need:
Start by muddling your basil leaves in a glass. Muddling means crushing them with a muddling tool. Place the muddled leaves in a mixing tin or glass. Next, add the tequila to the leaves and stir. Now add the lime juice, pour the mixture over the strawberry and Sierra Mist Fizz, and stir.
Pro tip: As you muddle the leaves, avoid the vein areas. Muddling there will make your drink bitter. If you don’t have a muddling tool, a spoon will do the trick.
Pick up a piña colada Fizz at eegee’s. You’ll also need:
Place the Fizz in a blender and add two ounces of rum and two ounces of cream of coconut. Now, put in several pineapple chucks. Blend and pour into a glass. Add a piece of pineapple to the rim for a garnish.
Pro Tip: You can experiment with different kinds of rum to create great, fruity drinks. For example, coconut or dark rum will add different flavors to your piña colada. If you use coconut rum, leave out the cream of coconut.
eegee Fizzes make the best cocktail for some cooling off in the summer. Pick your favorite flavor and experiment to create your signature drink. Try these recipes with other liquors, too, like bourbon and gin.
